Friends with Flair ~ Subtle Sympathy

I'm so happy to see Friends with Flair up and running today! I had this post prepared for last week, so decided to post it this friday...total simplicity for you today...

I love the look of the white on white cards that I see. (Or in this case, cream on cream) And I think that when they are done well, they convey a subtle elegance that can be hard to achieve with color. An example is this card here, it manages to be elegant and CAS, without being stark.

I thought that this look would work well for a sympathy card, so I chose a couple of flower cuts from the Silhouette store, and one of my Unity stamps, and let the simplicity roll.

Adhering delicate cuts like this was usually frustrating for me...until I discovered spray adhesive! Now it is the first adhesive that I reach for when I have lots of delicate lines!

You could absolutely use this type of card for just about any occasion...graduation, wedding, anniversary, birthday...just change up the sentiment!

Supplies:

  • cardstock: Coredinations
  • cut files: Silhouette America
  • stamp: Unity Stamp Co.
  • adhesive: Elmer's spray adhesive

Keeping it simple this week, as I link up over at Unity's Friends with Flair.

Thanks much for stopping by!
